About us:
Sunny Care Clinic PLLC is a single provider clinic owned by Krissi Williams PA-C. Krissi is an Outer Banks native. She completed her undergraduate BS in Biochemistry at NC State in 1997. She completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2004. Her family lives locally and she has two boys.
The support team includes Annette Robertson-Geesin PA-C, Robbie Williams and two new faces summer 2024. They come with 65 years of combined medical experience, in varying capacities.

Sunny Care Clinic is pleased to provide minor medical care services at a reasonable price. Sunny Care Clinic can treat minor illnesses and minor injuries, to include simple lacerations and foreign body removals, like splinters or fish hooks. Basic fluid rehydration may be administered at the discretion of the provider. The clinic has limited capacity with no xray services or high complexity labs onsite. Patients with high acuity symptoms (altered level of conscious, chest pain or acute abdominal pain, etc) will be sent to the appropriate level of care. If a suspected injury will need radiology or imaging, patients will be referred for evaluation to Outer Banks Hospital, Outer Banks Hospital Urgent Care Centers (Kitty Hawk or Nags Head), or Beach Medical Care in Kitty Hawk, next to Bear Drug.
Our Fee Schedule:
Sunny Care operates a direct pay system, accepting cash, credit/debit cards, and flex or HSA cards. The clinic will not be filing or participating with any health insurance. We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Level One: Clinical visit for minor illness/problem $150
Examples: Cold, ear pain, bladder infection, minor injuries, suture removal.
Level Two: Clinical visit with complex concern/services $200
Examples: Bronchitis with nebulizer therapy, medication injection, blood draws for outside Labcorp.
Most visits will fall under Level One.
Level Three: Visit with Procedures $300+ (dependent on complexity of wound repair)
Examples: simple sutures for wounds not involving tendon or muscle, foreign body removal (fish hooks etc), simple incision and drainage, IV therapy
OTHER:
Covid 19, Strep and Flu Rapid Testing $25 each plus visit fee.
DOT Physical $150
Middle School and High School Sports Physical (within Dare and Currituck Counties) $50
Middle School and High School Sports Physical (Outside Dare and Currituck Counties) $150
-Additional fees for outside labs services will be applied if blood work needed, urine culture and sensitivity, or wound culture. Lab fees will be disclosed prior to any labs being sent to outside facility.
